  9. Glockowonko

    Microtape 10

No.10 in the microtape series. Glockowonko - 20 patches coaxing weird and wonderful sounds from a simple glockenspiel, most with tempo synced rhythms. From Dwarf Mine Repairing to a Tibetan Teashop....or something like that... Recorded through valves to one inch tape. For full version of Kontakt 4.2.4 The microtape players feature a virtual tape machine running all the time beneath the engine. You have 3 types of control (via the 'Degrader') over tape damage - via filter, amplitude or pitch, with a tape speed slider as well, so Boards of Canada style sounds are easily obtainable, or you can set the controls to zero to bypass the effect. There is a simple low pass filter (no resonance) that can be connected to velocity (as can amplitude) for instrumental expression, but also more interestingly is hard wired to the ADSR envelopes, so a slower attack also brings about a slower filter attack (if engaged), to emulate the tape head coming into contact with the tape (likewise with the release). The player also has a sample reverse function, as well as a saturation button with Tronsonic's 'magic wav' impulse response (as found in Tronto) blended with Kontakt's own saturation effect. 20. Rhodetron 73

    Mark 1 stage piano

A simple single set of samples capturing the essence and weight of the Rhodes mark 1 stage piano. Sampled through 60's valve preamps to worn tape at 44khz/24 bit - no eq/compression etc. This set of samples loves distortion! I've created a few unexpected patches, to demonstrate the scope of the rhodes as a different type of synthesizable sound source. (All samples unlooped) Contains one set of samples with 20 patches each for Kontakt and EXS24 - patches differ across formats. The full version of Kontakt 3 or 4 will be needed to play this product, and version 4.2.2 to utilise the patches. Both Kontakt and Esx24 banks/patches are in this download,as well as files compatible with Nnxt and Structure, but no patches at present for these. MICROTAPE 8 is a variation on this pack - containing the same samples but with a user interface for Kontakt 4.2.3 (ful verison) - If you own Rhodetron73, contact me on my site for a FREE upgrade (proof of purchase needed) "I'm sort of obsessed with a good dirty Rhodes sound, and I've produced something close with 4-5 effects on a Scarbee Rhodes. Your Rhodetron doesn't need any FX and it's better than what I've come up with. These synths 'sound' like synths. You've been able to accurately reproduce analog warmth in the digital realm better than any other soft synth I've ever played." 4/5 SOUNDSANDGEAR Read review: http://soundsandgear.com/tronsonic-rhodetron-seventy-three-ep-library-review/ J.S. 21. Progressive Clavi D6

    Psychedelic Clavinet

Two sets of samples from the classic clavinet D6, with the emphasis on exploring new sonic possibilities from this string based keyboard.  Sampled through 60's valve preamps to worn tape to 44khz/24 bit - no eq/compression etc.  Distortion and Wah plus external amps turns this into a monster!  I've created a few unexpected patches, to demonstrate the scope of the clavinet as a different type of synthesizable sound source.  I've used an extreme azimuth setting on the tape heads , giving a more 'damaged', brittle sound. These artifact flecks help the distortion work well - enabling bite on low settings with the clarity of the instrument retained. Contains 2 sets of samples with over 40 patches each for kontakt and esx24 - patches differ across formats.  Once on your computer, please back-up elsewhere, as further downloads won't be available from a single purchase.  The full version of Kontakt 3 or 4 will be needed to play this product, and version 4.2.2 to utilise the patches. Both Kontakt and Esx24 banks/patches are in this download,as well as files compatible with Nnxt and Structure, but no patches at present for these.Read more…

  22. The Azimuth Generator NEW LOWER PRICE

    Experimental Soundtrack Synth

The concept behind the Azimuth Generator is to create a performance and inspiration synth, split into 3 main parts - bass, a mid-section and upper high-section, with white/pink noise samples on the F#1 note. Highly suited to soundtrack composition and to generally take you to places other synths haven't managed yet! Most of the sampled sounds were recorded to tape on vintage valve equipment, and the word 'azimuth' refers to the angle of the tapeheads, which in many cases was adjusted to achieve extra bite (giving a more extreme frequency range for filtering). The pack is made from 7 sets of samples from different analogue synths, including a harmonically modified square wave bass from a 1950s valve signal generator which has to be heard to be believed...intensely fat and analogue! Over 150 presets (some with sequences) and 25 multis...mix and match the presets to build unique inspirational multi-synths.Read more…

  23. Stoner Planet T

    70s Tripped-out Electric Piano

A simple sample set from the Hohner Pianet T, but with a twist. As always, sampled to worn tape to emulate the mellotron sound, but this time the samples have been gently overdriven with vintage valves, to bring out the hidden character of the Pianet, which without sounds very polite. With the valves added, the Pianet comes to life, and sounds like a wurlitzer / rhodes hybrid, and more. There are over 40 different 70s inspired instrument patches created for Kontakt 4.2.4 or later, and the wavs will also load in other samplers too (but no presets). The kontakt patches have a theme of modulation running through most of them, from autowah to ramped lfos and delays (via the mod wheel), as well as classic phasers.Read more…

  24. Organatron m100 NEW LOWER PRICE

The Floyd Zep Hammond m100 (with V2 free)

If buying this, contact me at tronsonic.com for a free version of Organatron V2. All 9 drawbars, bass pedals and percussion harmonics from the legendary prog organ - the Hammond m100.  As used by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and many other greats from the late 60s and early 70s. If you use Kontakt, please check out Oganatron v2 instead - an updated version with 'age' controls. Sampled to worn tape on vintage valve equipment, with complete control over each drawbar via midi - in other words, if you have a midi keyboard with 9 faders you have a Hammond! If that keyboard also has 8 assignable knobs then with the Kontakt instruments you can have control over leslie, reverb/delay, vibrato, and even ADSR envelopes should you feel creative.  Designed to evoke the magic of late 60s/early 70s music, it also adds great character to contemporary music, and really comes to life when re-amped through an amp, or even better, a real leslie speaker. With over 35 drawbar setting patches for Kontakt 4.2.2 - compatible with Esx24, NNXT and Structure. Compressor option on the master output of Kontakt to emulate key 'bounce' and Hammond compressionRead more…

  25. Logandy

    1977 Italian string synth

6 sample sets from this superb 70s string synth (the Logan melody 2) 'mellotronized' onto tape, using vintage 60s valve equipment and recorders.   Use the software synthesis capabilities of ESX24 or KONTAKT to create unique new sounds, previously unavailable from this keyboard. Can sound very like a cs80 (Bladerunner) at times, as well as a great oscillator source for conventional synthesis, rather than just the limited string sounds that the original synth was restricted to..   Over 60 preset patches and 10 multis for kontakt 4.2.2, and 80 patches for esx24. The full version of Kontakt 3 or 4 will be needed to play this product, and version 4.2.2 to utilise the patches. Both Kontakt and Esx24 banks/patches are in this download,as well as files compatible with Nnxt and Structure, but no patches at present for these. "I've got Waveform '72 and Logandy and love them. They have a wonderfully melancholy, aged texture and feel that comes across as very authentic..." 26. Waveform 72

    Vintage Tape Saturated Analogue

Waveform 72 derives from the front end of a famous 70's monosynth - all 7 waveforms from the oscillators plus pink and white noise 'mellotronized' with 60s valve recording equipment .   Use the software synthesis of EXS24 or KONTAKT to stack these oscillators into complex polysynths, and your imagination with the modulation/filters/effects etc to create epic sounding analogue monstrosities! Looped samples also compatible with NNXT and Structure, but no presets I'm afraid. 100 patches and 20 multis for Kontakt 4.2.2 or later 150 patches for EXS24 Super fat basses with this, and capable of the warmest most analogue drum kits you've ever heard... This sample pack contains 9 different sets of samples - each spanning over 7 octaves (each bank corresponding to the pure, unsynthesized waveforms and noise generators - pre-filter). All samples seamlessly looped with the option of immediate attack and continuous sustain.   Have Kontakt 5? Then skip this perhaps and get Tronto - it uses the same waveform samples . "love the waveform72 samples, a great antidote to the more sterile soundsets you often come across. Bags of character in there"   RICHARD X - producer - worked with Goldfrapp, Will Young, Sophie Ellis   Bexter, Kylie Minogue, Steve Mason, Saint Etienne, Pet   Shop Boys, Sugarbabes and more... www.blackmelody.comRead more…
